Loud, Hispanic, and charming, Gabriela Hasbun is a freelance photographer born and raised in San Salvador. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband, Nick, their son Matteo, and cats, Junebug and Steve.
Gabriela has a deep appreciation for all food, scuba diving, watching Insecure and playing Settlers of Catan. She can eat almost any flavor ice cream all year round ( Garden Creamery’s black sesame is the current favorite).
In January 2009, Gabriela had her first solo exhibition at the Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Historical Society in San Francisco. The multimedia exhibit titled, “POLK STREET: Lives in Transition,“ is the first significant historical study of San Francisco’s Polk Gulch neighborhood, the first predominantly queer neighborhood in the city.
